Branding good business sense

RSPCA, UK

From brand architecture and identity to corporate communications and multichannel activation

RSPCA Good Business Awards

The RSPCA Good Business Awards recognise organisations that show innovation in advancing animal welfare and those that go the extra mile to include it as part of their business policy. They led the way in ethical awards and commanded significant media coverage, with the profile raised each year to the point they required a separate identity that worked as an award and endorsement, as well as being a more celebratory, modern expression of the world’s first animal welfare charity.

Introducing creativity

The identity acts as a badge of endorsement for winners to use in their own campaigns and communications for the year, as well as being the design of the award itself. The emotive symbol takes on a life of its own in RSPCA generated digital, print and experiential activations, encouraging entries, raising awareness and celebrating ethical winners.

“The Launch of the RSPCA Good Business Awards Causes a Flap. Companies are finding that being animal welfare-friendly is better for business than it has ever been.”
